Popular Skatepark To Close For Infrastructure Repair

The Central Park Skatepark will be closed from Monday, March 6 through the end of April for maintenance.

FREMONT, CA — The city of Fremont's Central Park Skatepark, at 40000 Paseo Padre Parkway, will be closed from Monday, March 6 through the end of April 2023 to undergo maintenance and infrastructure repair, the city has announced.

"We apologize for the inconvenience and thank you for your support and patience during the closure," the city said in a news release issued last week.

In other news, the city announced that while the Blacow Neighborhood Park & Sylvester P. Harvey Park remains closed for approximately one to two more weeks for a playground re-surfacing project, The Always Dream Play Park and David Jones Park, at Central Park on Stevenson Boulevard, is back open to the public following resurfacing.
