FREMONT, CA — Officers said they shut down a road Tuesday afternoon in Fremont due to police activity.

At 12:40 p.m., the Fremont Police Department sent out an alert that they were closing a portion of the 45000 block of Northport Loop West for several hours due to police activity.

The police said there is no known threat to the public and more details would be shared at a later time.
