Road Closure To Impact Weekend Traffic
Scheduled maintenance work, including patching asphalt, will result in a street closure area and a detour.
FREMONT, CA — Mowry Avenue, from Overacker Avenue to Mission Boulevard, will be closed Saturday for scheduled maintenance work, the City of Fremont announced Wednesday.
The closure will start at 9 a.m. and end no later than 4 p.m., officials said. All traffic will be detoured to Walnut Avenue.
The maintenance work on the road will involve "patching asphalt, repainting, cleaning the drain inlet at the pump station, and removing trash and a broken guardrail," according to city officials.
