Robber Shoves Sandwich Clerk, Takes Off with Cash

A strong-arm robbery occurred Wednesday at Subway

Police are searching fora male suspect after an employee of Subway restaurant was shoved in a strong-arm robbery Wednesday night.

Fremont Police Spokeswoman Geneva Bosques said officers were called to the Subway at Charter Square around 9 p.m. to a report of a masked suspect running into the store, shoving a female employee and demanding cash from the register.

The suspect fled on foot but police said he is described as a 5-foot-10 tall black man of medium build and was last seen wearing a black sweatshirt and blue jeans. Police said the suspect had a gray cut out shirt tied around the lower portion of his face.
