FREMONT, CA — Police in Fremont have released their weekly crime summary. Here's what you may have missed.

- A suspect was arrested after sending an email to Ohlone College, where they threatened to shoot up the school on Sept. 24, according to police. It's unclear what charges they may face.
- A man was scammed out of $2.4 million over the last year and a half after two people claimed to be FBI and IRS agents conducting an investigation, according to the Fremont Police Department. The scammers got the person to move his assets to a crypto wallet, promising them that the money would be kept safe by the FBI. He later found out he'd been scammed and reported the crime on Sept. 25, police said.
- A suspect was arrested on an outstanding warrant and on suspicion of possessing meth after they were found walking around an apartment complex intoxicated and with their pants down on Sept. 29, police said.
- Police are investigating a theft at a hospital on Paseo Padre Parkway after someone stole more than $100,000 worth of medical equipment on Sept. 25, police said. They are also investigating a theft at a hardware store on Ice House Terrace, where someone stole $1,200 worth of items and then hid them near the business, police said, adding that they were able to recover the items and arrest two suspects.
