Wednesday searches for missing teen Sierra LaMar have been discontinued. As the search for Sierra LaMar reaches the six-month mark, volunteer search efforts will focus on Saturdays from this point forward.

“Volunteer enthusiasm is still very high,” said Marlene LaMar, Sierra’s mother. “But we want to ensure that we are maximizing our opportunities, so we are doubling down on ensuring the viability of search assignments. The extra day of planning will ensure the integrity of our efforts.”
