From the Fremont Police Department
On Saturday June 1st, the Fremont Police Department's Traffic Unit will host the second annual Fremont Motor Training and Skills Competition. This event is an intense motorcycle skills competition that will be exciting for both competitors and spectators alike. More than 35 motor officers representing 15 police agencies from as far north as Redding and as far south as Carlsbad, will compete for the top honor.
The competition will test the skills of each motor officer as they compete on their service bikes for trophies in both challenge and slow ride courses. The obstacles will show their ability to maneuver around confined spaces and require riders to use skills that they have learned through traffic enforcement.
The event is open to the public and we encourage you to come out and help support our team!
Event Details:
Saturday, June 1, 20138:00 a.m. – the last rider finishes (anticipated to be mid-afternoon)
Ohlone College (43600 Mission Blvd.)
In addition to the motor competition, two of the Department’s K9’s as well as the Department's Personnel Recruitment Team will be there to meet with the public and answer questions.
We hope to see you there!
