Teen Robbed Outside of Middle School By Men With Meat Cleaver
The victim was not injured.

A teen sitting outside of Thornton Junior High School Saturday night was robbed of his cell phone by two men wielding an eight-inch meat cleaver, according to media reports.
According to the Fremont Police Department, the armed robbery was reported at 10 p.m.

The victim told police he was sitting on a bench on the west side of the campus when two men, one armed with a meat cleaver, ordered him to empty his pockets, the Fremont Argus reports.
The teen complied and handed over his cell phone to the suspects. The suspects then walked away through the fields at the north end of the school, according to the report.

The suspects, however, returned and offered to give back the cell phone, but the victim, now accompanied by his friends, declined the offer and informed them that they were calling the police. The men then ran away, the Argus reports.
One of the suspects was described as an 18-year-old black male, about 5-foot-11 with a skinny build and short black dreadlocks and wearing a black hoodie. He was carrying the eight-inch cleaver.
The second suspect is said to be a stocky Middle Eastern man in his early 20s, also 5-foot-11 with short black hair. He was wearing a black puffy jacket.
