Traffic Signal At Major Fremont Intersection Turned Off Today
The outage is expected to last five hours.
FREMONT, CA — The City of Fremont has scheduled a traffic signal switchover at the Fremont Boulevard and Country Drive intersection today, Wednesday, Feb. 26, as part of ongoing intersection improvements.
The signal will be turned off from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m., during which the intersection will be controlled by stop signs and flaggers.
Traffic delays are expected, and the city is advising drivers to avoid the area during this time.
The new traffic signal is scheduled to be fully operational before Washington High School dismisses students for the day.
