FRESNO, CA — Two men recently harassed customers and workers at businesses in Fresno while impersonating U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement agents, according to police.

Callers told authorities Feb. 26 that the men had been to 11 businesses and were filming their confrontations with customers, authorities said. Officers found the men wearing black tactical vests outside a business in the River Park Shopping Center, according to police, who said the vests had patches that were partially covered to look like the words “police” and “ICE.”

The men were filming the confrontations to upload to their social media pages, police said. At one business, they told workers they were conducting an investigation and needed to see certain business documents, according to police.
