"We had gotten information that he was on the run and we were obviously assuming that he was armed, so we had deputies taking a wide perimeter," Tony Botti of the Fresno County Sheriff's Office said, according to the TV station. "Thankfully once our helicopter got on scene, they picked him up pretty quickly running through one of the rows of the orchards."
Deputies told media outlets the suspect has a history of run-ins with the law. His name wasn't immediately released.
