Suspicious Death Under Investigation After Worker Found Hurt At Yosemite: Reports

FRESNO COUNTY, CA — The death of a 34-year-old woman found severely hurt in an employee housing facility at Yosemite National Park is under investigation, according to reports.

The woman worked for Yosemite Hospitality and was taken to a hospital after rangers were called to respond to a medical emergency in the housing unit, but she died the next day, SFGate reported.

The park considered the death to be suspicious, but a spokesperson for the sheriff’s and coroner’s office in Fresno County said it did not appear to be a homicide, according to the San Francisco Chronicle.
