2 Brothers Arrested In Gilroy On Felony, Misdemeanor Warrants
Gilroy Police on Thursday arrested two brothers wanted on felony and misdemeanor warrants at a Gilroy apartment building.

GILROY - Gilroy Police on Thursday arrested two brothers wanted on felony and misdemeanor warrants at a Gilroy apartment building.
Police say about 2 p.m. they received information suggesting 21-year-old Cesar Resendiz was located inside an apartment in the 9000 block of Kern Avenue.
Resendiz was wanted for a felony warrant, and police say he is currently on supervised release.

Gilroy Police also learned Resendiz' brother, 20-year-old Daniel Resendiz, was in the same apartment. Police say Daniel Resendiz was wanted for multiple misdemeanor arrest warrants.
Armed with the information, Gilroy police say they isolated the apartment. In a precautionary move, nearby schools Rod Kelley Elementary and Mt. Madonna High School were put on lockdown for the safety of students and school staff.

According to police, the brothers exited from the apartment after several minutes and were arrested without incident.
Police say lockdowns at the two schools ended about 2:45 p.m.
Cesar Resendiz and Daniel Resendiz were booked into the Santa Clara County Main Jail.
