2 Teenagers Killed In 2 Days In Alleged Salinas Gang-Related Shootings
A 17-year-old boy was killed in a suspected gang-related shooting Wednesday morning in Salinas, police said. Monday, a 16-year-old boy died.

SALINAS - A 17-year-old boy was killed in a suspected gang-related shooting Wednesday morning in Salinas, police said.
Felipe Rocha Sandoval was found shot multiple times in the 900 block of Acosta Plaza around 11:20 a.m., when officers responded to reports of shots fired and a victim down, according to police.
Sandoval was pronounced dead at the scene, police said.

On Monday, officers found 16-year-old Jose Luis Valdez suffering from at least one gunshot wound in the 800 block of Garner Avenue.
Valdez was transported to the hospital, where he was pronounced dead a short time later.

Investigators have not received many leads or heard from witnesses in the latest shooting, according to police.
Sandoval was the city's 10th homicide victim this year, police said.
