Be a Part of Gilroy’s First Farmers Market

Sunday’s Spice of Life festival, a project of this year’s Leadership Gilroy class, will kick off a weekly farmers market in Gilroy through November.

The event, held from 10 a.m.-4 p.m., will feature local art and food vendors and continue weekly until November under the organization of the Gilroy Demonstration Garden, said garden director Judy Hess.

“Gilroy has been waiting for a farmers market, and here it is, for all of Gilroy to enjoy!” wrote Hess in an email.

Come take part in the first-ever event at 7341 Monterey St.
