Firefighters had 50 percent containment of a wildland fire burning in a remote area of Henry Coe State Park when the last update was issued.

HENRY COE STATE PARK - Firefighters had 50 percent containment of a wildland fire burning in a remote area of Henry Coe Park when the last update was issued at 3:15 p.m. Wednesday.
According to Cal Fire, the blaze is 20 miles west of Gustine in Stanislaus County, and has now burned 120 acres.

The fire was first reported at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday.

Gilroy's Engine 348 was one of several area firefighting units assigned to the fire.
