Councilman Bracco Launches Newsletter
The online mailer includes news items and contact information.

Gilroy Councilman Dion Bracco launched a new online newsletter today, modeling it after the personal newsletters he said are popular with the San Jose City Council.
“I’ve been wanting to do it for a while,” said Bracco.
The newsletter includes information and links related to high-speed rail, an update on the new library and a call to visit Gilroy’s downtown.

“This is the first in a series of newsletters we plan to publish, keeping Gilroy residents aware of the actions and decisions of their city government,” wrote Bracco in the newsletter.
Nearly 8,000 people received the newsletter in their inbox today, Bracco said, part of a list of email addresses he has built along with his supporters.

Bracco announced his mayoral bid alongside fellow councilman Perry Woodward earlier this year, but he said the newsletter is not related to his campaign and has received a positive response.
The councilman said he hopes to publish the newsletter at least once a month, and those who wish to sign up can email him at dionbracco@yahoo.com.
The newsletter is available online here.
