Donors Needed — Find a Blood Drive in Gilroy
The Red Cross blood supply was dangerously low last year. It's always a good deed to donate.
Red Cross blood donation levels fell to emergency lows in mid-2012, prompting a nationwide response in July and early August.
By fall, Red Cross officials reported that levels were "slowly improving," with more blood is needed to ensure adequate supply in the future.
There are three Red Cross blood drives planned for April in south Santa Clara County, including one in Gilroy. For any blood drive, if you wish to make an appointment, call 1-800-733-2767 or go to redcrossblood.org and enter the city-specific sponsor code listed below.
