GILROY, CA — A brush fire broke out on the side of the road along State Route 25 south of Gilroy Tuesday morning.

Patch editor Nick Garber passed by the fire around 10:30 a.m. and said firefighters were just arriving on scene.

The fire was near the Highway 101 transition, according to CalFireBot.
