Food Truck Fly-In Event Planned At San Martin Airport Saturday
The event will feature food trucks, aircraft displays, live music and a 9/11 tribute skydive by Skydive Silicon Valley.
GILROY, CA — The San Martin Airport will host a free event Saturday featuring food trucks, aircraft displays, live music and a 9/11 tribute skydive by Skydive Silicon Valley.
People are invited to walk the flight line of parked aircraft on display. The Eagle Field Foundation will be on hand to showcase a number of historical military vehicles, including tanks.
Gilroy resident Sofia Gonzalez will perform the national anthem, which will be followed by a performance by the South bay Military Veterans Choir. The Wings of History Aircraft Museum, located across the street from the airport, will also be open.

Locally-owned and operated food trucks including Tlaxiacos Pizza, Fish Taco Wabo, Grillzillas, BBQ Kalbi, Tacos el Gordito, Plin Plin Ice Cream and NorCal Snowee Bus Shaved Ice will be on hand.
The event will take place from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Parking will be at 13030 Murphy Avenue, across from the museum. Click here for more details.
