Free Walk-In COVID-19 Testing Offered Sept. 23 In Gilroy

The testing will take place at San Ysidro Park on Wednesday from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m.

GILROY, CA—According to city Gilroy officials, there will be a free walk-in COVID-19 testing event this week for anyone without symptoms.

The testing will take place at San Ysidro Park, which is located at 7700 Murray Ave., on Wednesday, Sept. 23, 2020 from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m.

The Santa Clara County Health Department recommends the following persons get tested:

  • Anyone who has been exposed to someone who tested positive
  • Anyone who works with the public should get tested once a month
  • Anyone who rides public transit
  • Anyone who attends a mass gathering

Anyone experiencing COVID-19 symptoms should contact their health provider for testing, city officials said.
