Gilroy City Council To Discuss Brown Act, Norms At Retreat

GILROY, CA — The Gilroy City Council will hold a retreat on Tuesday at the council chambers.

The topics on the agenda include a discussion on councilmembers' roles, responsibilities and obligations, and a review of council norms.

The meeting will include a presentation and discussion on the Brown Act, the Open Government Ordinance and how it applies to council meetings and councilmembers’ conduct

The council will also consider revisions to the list of council norms.
