Gilroy To Host Town Hall On Fentanyl Next Week

Middle and high school students are invited to participate in the town hall.

GILROY, CA — The city of Gilroy will hold a virtual town hall next week on the dangers of fentanyl.

Middle and high school students are invited to participate in the town hall, which is taking place in partnership with the Gilroy Unified School District. Speakers will include Gilroy Fire Chief Jim Watt and Santa Clara County Supervising Deputy District Attorney Edward Liang.

The discussion will provide basics on fentanyl and why it is a problem. It will be followed by a Q&A.
