GILROY, CA — Gilroy and Santa Clara County residents are invited to participate in a Community Emergency Response Team course.
The course trains civilians to react to emergency and disaster situations. Skills covered include disaster response, fire safety, light search and rescue and damage assessment.
It is being offered for free and will be a combination of online training and one day of in-person training.
