Gilroy Seeks Finance Manager

GILROY, CA — Gilroy is seeking a finance manager to work under the city’s finance director.

The job listing notes the job is an “excellent mid-management opportunity” that would pay between $110,904 and $147,888.

The candidate should have a broad knowledge base in local government accounting, financial reporting, budgeting, grant management utility billing and business licensing.

First-year projects the finance department would undertake include implementing the Tyler Munis Modules, coordinating the comprehensive water and wastewater utility rate study, reviewing and updating financial policies and procedures and putting in place a 5-year Capital Improvement Budget Update.
