Gilroy's Spice Of Life Awards Ceremony To Honor Nine Residents

Local Gilroy business owners, teachers, volunteers and youth will be honored at the ceremony for their efforts over the past year.

GILROY, CA — Nine Gilroy residents will be honored at the Chamber of Commerce’s annual Spice of Life Awards Ceremony.

The ceremony, scheduled for Mar. 26, is themed “There’s No Place Like Home” and celebrates business owners, teachers, volunteers and youth for their efforts over the past year.

  • Man of the Year: Tom Cline
  • Woman of the Year: Kathleen Rose
  • Large Business of the Year: CordeValle
  • Small Business of the Year: The Neon Exchange
  • Educator of the Year: Nicky Austin
  • Volunteer of the Year: Andrea Nicolette
  • Non-Profit of the Year: One Giving Tree
  • Young Professionals of the Year: Andrew Briggs and Leo Khooshabeh
  • Susan Valenta Youth Leadership Award: Alyssa E. Gonzalez

The event takes place from 5:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m at the Cinelux Gilroy Cafe & Lounge. The attendance cost of $75 also includes food, wine and entertainment.
