All lanes of southbound U.S. Highway 101 near Gilroy have reopened after an overturned vehicle blocked traffic this morning, according to the California Highway Patrol.
Both lanes of southbound U.S. Highway 101, just before state Highway 25, were blocked by an injury collision, according to the CHP.
CHP officials said that one person was transported by helicopter to Regional Medical Center in San Jose for medical assistance.
The collision was reported at about 11:10 p.m. on Tuesday and a Sig-alert was issued at about 11:50 p.m.
