M.H. Cyclist Killed By Commuter Bus Near Great America In S.C.

SANTA CLARA, CA -- A 49-year-old bicyclist from Morgan Hill was fatally struck by a commuter bus Thursday evening in Santa Clara, according to police.

The collision occurred around 5:20 p.m. in the vicinity of Bunker Hill Lane and Great America Parkway.

Investigators said the victim was in the bike lane when the bus turned south from Bunker Hill Lane to Great America Parkway and hit him. The man died at the scene. His name is not yet being released, according to police.
