Man Charged With Gilroy Arson, Suspected Of Dumpster Fire
The man was seen on surveillance footage setting a dumpster on fire and then attempting to start another fire, according to police.

GILROY, CA — A man was arrested Monday in Gilroy on suspicion of starting a dumpster fire on the 400 block of First Street.
Pavel Zapata, 43, was charged with arson in connection with the Jan. 25 fire. A local business owner recognized Zapata from surveillance footage, according to police.
Zapata was seen setting the dumpster on fire and then attempting to start another fire, according to police.
