Missing 86-Year-Old Gilroy Man Located 'Safe And Sound': Police

GILROY, CA — An 86-year-old Gilroy man was located Tuesday night, approximately nine hours after he went missing, according to the Gilroy Police Department.

The man, who suffers from exhaustion with “bouts of forgetfulness and confusion,” was reported missing around 11 a.m. Tuesday after he left his Gilroy home in his car.

He was found “safe and found” by a community member, according to an update from the police around 9 p.m.
