Monterey Road In Gilroy Closed For Construction Work Next Week

GILROY, CA — Monterey Road in Gilroy will be closed to southbound traffic between 4th Street and Lewis Street next Monday through Thursday as construction crews make repairs.

Detours will be put in place, according to the city. Crews will repave the area after work is complete, with paving expected to take place over the summer.

Drivers are asked to use alternate routes, slow down and obey traffic signs.

The city will maintain driveaway access for businesses in the roads affected.
