San Jose Motorcycle Rider Killed In Crash Deemed Loving Father
The man was killed when he rode into the back of a vehicle with his 2011 Yamaha motorcycle on Hwy. 101 south of E. Dunne Ave. on Saturday.

MORGAN HILL, CA -- A 30-year-old motorcyclist killed in a crash on U.S. Highway 101 in Morgan Hill on Saturday evening has been identified as Jesse Del Rio of San Jose, according to the Santa Clara County medical examiner's office.
He was driving a 2011 Yamaha on northbound Highway 101 south of East Dunne Avenue at 5:10 p.m. when he failed to stop in slowing traffic and crashed into a 2005 Chevrolet Silverado, according to the California Highway Patrol.
The impact of the crash ejected him onto the lanes of the highway, and he later died at Regional Medical Center of San Jose. A 45-year-old woman driving the Chevrolet suffered minor injuries.Del Rio's family set up a GoFundMe donation page on Monday and as of Wednesday afternoon had raised more than $14,000 of their $30,000 goal toward funeral expenses and support for Del Rio's wife, Briana. The couple had two daughters, according to the site.

"Jesse Del Rio was a loving husband, son, father, brother, uncle, compadre, cousin, nephew and friend who was deeply loved by so many," the page says. "He filled everyone around him with so much love and happiness and his smile was so contagious."
The CHP said they are still investigating the crash, but said the Chevrolet driver is not suspected of impairment.
