Monterey Bay Murals, a few Watsonville-based artists who have built a little following around their T-shirt business, have added Gilroy shirts to the inventory.
The garlic design is available to pre-order at $15 a shirt via theMonterey Bay Murals Facebook page.
Monterey Bay Murals debuted this line of shirts last spring with "The 'Ville," a play on the old Warriors' jerseys from when they were in San Francisco in the 1970s that highlighted Watsonville's best-known landmarks and its top crop: strawberries.
Since then, they've also sold "The 'Ville" shirts featuring artichokes—for Castroville—at the Artichoke Festival.
The Gilroy Garlic shirts will be out before the annual Garlic Festival this summer.
