Road Clear After Big Rig Rolls On Luchessa Avenue
The truck was turning off of Monterey.
Traffic can drive through Luchessa Avenue near Monterey Road again after a big rig carrying several pallets of cardboard toppled during a turn at 4:35 p.m., according to Gilroy Fire Department Captain Joshua Valverde.
Authorities were able to clear the accident at 7:19, according to Gilroy police.
The truck was turning east on Luchessa at a speed between twenty and thirty miles per hour, the captain said. There were no major injuries.

Firefighters from Gilroy’s Chestnut station, the Gilroy Police Department and the California Highway Patrol were on scene while a towing company worked to clear the accident.
