Residents Invited To Submit Legislation Ideas For Gilroy Council

Gilroy Councilmember Zach Hilton created a Google Form titled "There Ought To Be A Law" for residents to submit their ideas.

GILROY, CA — Gilroy Councilmember Zach Hilton is inviting the community to propose ideas for legislation to come before the council this year.

Hilton created a Google Form titled “There Ought To Be A Law,” where people can submit legislative solutions to what they see as problems.

People can also upload studies, reports and other evidence to support their proposals, along with pointing out potential supporters and opponents of the legislation.

“As a City Council Member, I know that some of the best ideas we work on at City Hall come directly from constituents,” Hilton wrote. “When we work together as a community, we can produce better results.”
