Roads Closed By Storm In Gilroy Area
Downed trees and power lines are to blame, according to the Santa Clara County Emergency Operations Center.
GILROY, CA — A fierce storm that tore through the Bay Area on Sunday forced the closure of two Gilroy area roads, according to the Santa Clara County Emergency Operations Center.
- Watsonville Road from Day Road to Calle Cielo, north of Gilroy, was closed due to a downed power line.
- Bolsa Road from Garlic Farm Road to Bloomfield Road, south of Gilroy, was closed due to a downed tree and power line.
A High Wind Warning issued by the National Weather Service is set to expire at10 p.m. Sunday.
