San Jose​ ​Man Killed In Crash On Highway 101 Near Morgan Hill

A 25-year-old San Jose man died in a collision early Sunday on U.S. Highway 101 near Morgan Hill, the California Highway Patrol said.

SANTA CLARA COUNTY, CA — A 25-year-old San Jose man died in a collision early Sunday on U.S. Highway 101 near Morgan Hill, the California Highway Patrol said.

The crash happened about 2:15 a.m., when the man was driving a 2015 Nissan sedan southbound on the freeway just north of Bailey Avenue. The Nissan overturned after colliding with a 2014 Honda, the CHP said.

The Nissan's driver was ejected from the car, the CHP said. The man, whose name was not released, died at the scene.

The Honda's driver was not injured, and there were no other people in either car, the CHP said.

The crash is under investigation.
