Major Gilroy Intersection Reopens After Serious Collision: Police

GILROY, CA — A serious injury collision at a major intersection in Gilroy shut down traffic in the area on Tuesday morning for several hours.

The accident occurred at the intersection of Leaveley Road and Swanston Lane and was reported around 8:15 a.m. The intersection, near Highway 101, was reopened shortly after 1:30 p.m., police said.
