SR-152 Cleared After Downed Pole Launches Long Commute Day

GILROY, CA -- The California Highway Patrol responded to a few crashes and a downed power pole that blocked commuters on Wednesday.

First, a crash with injuries on the northbound side of State Route 85 south of Blossom Hill Road between San Jose and Gilroy blocked lanes, while the right shoulder at Dixon Landing Road on the southbound side of Interstate 880 also caused delays. Both have since cleared.

First thing in the morning, another crash resulting in a downed power pole on State Route 152 made for slow going among motorists on the major thoroughfare west of Pole Line Road - an incident that has also been cleared.
