Suspicious Vehicle Seen Pacing Possible Thieves: Gilroy Police
Gilroy Police seeks the public's help in finding those connected with a white SUV that may have provided backup to vehicle theft activity.

GILROY, CA — In what appears to be a stakeout of thieves targeting vehicles, an SUV described as a new, white Ford Explorer was "acting as backup to several subjects on foot trying (to open) vehicle doors" in a Sunrise Drive neighborhood during the overnight hours starting Wednesday, Gilroy Police reported.
The vehicle caught pacing the suspects from Wednesday night into Thursday morning is shown here.
The suspicious activity was seen on the north side of the Sunrise Drive area, but it can occur anywhere, officers warned.
