Three Juveniles Arrested For Attempted Carjacking in Gilroy

GILROY, CA -- Three males were booked into Juvenile Hall on attempted carjacking charges following a 2:25 p.m. call to the Gilroy Police Department received from the parking lot of the Southern Pacific Transportation Depot located at 7250 Monterey St.

The suspects were described as three young juvenile males with a black semi-automatic handgun. They were last seen running south on Monterey Street toward Eighth Street, Gilroy police posted on its Facebook page.

Officers began a systematic search of the area and located the suspects who were arrested.
