Trustee On Gavilan Community College Board Resigns
The board thanked Jonathan Brusco for his decade of service at the April meeting.
GILROY, CA — Jonathan Brusco, a trustee on the Gavilan Joint Community College Board of Trustees, resigned last week after a decade on the board.
Brusco’s current term was set to run through Dec. 2024. The board of trustees will fill his seat via a provisional appointment
The board sets policy for the community college district and are elected by voters in geographical divisions for four-year terms.

Board Superintendent/President Dr. Kathleen Rose and other board members thanked Brusco for his service at the April meeting.
The board encouraged all residents in Area 2, which was Brusco’s district, to apply.
