Woman's Body Found In Gilroy Canal, Police Deem Death 'Suspicious'

GILROY, CA — Gilroy police are investigating a suspicious death last Friday when a woman’s body was found in a canal near the 9000 block of Murray Avenue.

The body was discovered around noon Friday.

The Gilroy Police Department and Santa Clara County Office of the Medical Examiner-Coroner are investigating the woman’s death.
