Bomb Scare Prompts Evacuation of Glendora Walmart
Police searched the Glendora Walmart after a man allegedly claimed to have planted a bomb there but nothing was found and the store later re-opened.

The Glendora Walmart was evacuated Monday night after a woman called the store and said her husband planted a bomb there, police said.
The woman called Walmart from the Chevy dealership across the street at 6:22 p.m. and said her husband was banging on the window of her car and threatening to kill her, Glendora Police Lt. Joe Ward said. The woman also said that he claimed to have planted a bomb at the store.
The store was searched but nothing suspicious was found, Ward said.

"We found no evidence to corroborate what she was saying," he said.
The woman later called police from a business in San Dimas asking for help but when they arrived she was nowhere to be found, Ward said. Police suspect that the woman may have had mental issues, he said.
