A broken oil pan on a dump truck traveling the Foothill (210) Freeway Thursday sent about two gallons of the fluid into a storm drain and prompted a response by a hazardous materials team.
The spill was reported on the eastbound side, east of the Base Line exit ramp, about 12:30 p.m., according to the California Highway Patrol.
