Gold Line Update: Dalton Avenue in Azusa Reopens
Dalton Avenue will reopen to through traffic Monday while Pasadena Avenue will close for grade crossing improvements.
As construction of the Metro Gold Line to the Azusa/Glendora border continues, the Gold Line Construction Authority will reopen Dalton Avenue in Azusa Monday while closing Pasadena Avenue for grade crossing improvements.
Pasadena Avenue will be closed at the railroad crossing between 9th Street and 8th Street from July 8 through the end of August.
According to the Construction Authority, motorists, bicyclists and pedestrians should be aware of the following items:

-Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Pasadena Ave will be closed to thru-traffic including motorists, pedestrians and bicyclists, at the railroad crossing.Â
-Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â During the closure, a detour route will be in place, and signage will be posted to direct motorists, pedestrians and bicyclists:

-Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Motorists will be detoured to Alameda Ave.Â
-        Pedestrians will be detoured to Dalton Ave.Â
-        All businesses including those located on 9th St and Pasadena Ave will remain open and accessible.Â
-        Motorists are advised to expect delays and use alternate routes when possible.
