2 Arrested For Gang-Related Graffiti Around Healdsburg: Police

A 23-year-old Willits man and a 17-year-old boy from Windsor were caught in the act, police said.

HEALDSBURG, CA — Two people believed to be responsible for vandalizing buildings throughout Healdsburg with gang-related graffiti were caught in the act last weekend and arrested, police said.

Early Saturday, officers noticed gang-related graffiti—including several tags consistent with known gang symbols—at various locations in the city.

Then, around 2:30 a.m., dispatchers at the Healdsburg Police Department received a call from a witness who reported seeing two people spray-painting buildings in the area of Terrace Boulevard and Alley 6.

Officers responded and found two male suspects—one adult and one teen —carrying spray paint cans.

Additional evidence also linked the pair to the vandalism that took place overnight, police said.

Lucas Elijah Iverson, 23, of Willits, was booked into Sonoma County jail on suspicion of conspiracy to commit a crime, contributing to the delinquency of a minor, vandalism, and participation in a criminal street gang.

The other suspect, a 17-year-old boy from Windsor, was arrested and booked into juvenile hall on charges of obstruction of an officer, conspiracy to commit a crime, vandalism and participation in a criminal street gang.
