3.4 Earthquake Shakes Bay Area Monday Morning
The earthquake was reported near The Geysers in Lake County.
THE GEYSERS, CA — An earthquake with a preliminary magnitude reading of 3.4 was felt at 8:45 Monday morning in The Geysers, the world's largest geothermal field in Sonoma and Lake counties, located about 72 miles north of San Francisco. 2.6 earthquakes were also reported near Belden and Petrolia from Sunday.
No injuries or damage have been reported.
Weak to moderate shaking was reported around Windsor, Santa Rosa, and Rohnert Park.
