I am paired with an attractive, intense man, approximately the same age as me, thin and toned, wearing yoga-style pants and a caftan-like thick overshirt. We sit crosslegged on the carpeted floor, facing each other, knees touching.

We are strangers -- but soon, I suspect, not so much. I'll call him Bill.
First we state our intentions for the interaction: "I intend to have an enjoyable exchange that is safe, easy, pleasant and includes clear and honest communication."

Likewise, says Bill -- or something to that effect.
OK, what do we want thrown out of this bubble we have created, just the two of us? What are we bringing in?
I'm taking out distractions, stress and worry. Bill's taking out physical pain, deadlines and anxiety.
I'm bringing in joy, fun and a sense of closeness. Bill's bringing in love, happiness and -- a "Bowl of Yum."
Wow! A "Bowl of Yum." Could we really? Could I really?
Is it possible to have a yummy life, even after divorce, financial meltdown, 50-plus, health challenges and a stressful job?
Maybe yummy is possible on the ..in fact I know it is. But what about the rest of the time? What about on -- as a single in a couple's world?
