The driver was unconscious in an overturned car near Sebastopol, according to the California Highway Patrol.

SONOMA COUNTY, CA — A California Highway Patrol officer came to the aid of an Occidental man who was found unconscious in an overturned vehicle near Sebastopol Sunday night. CHP Officer Ken Enger heard the sound of a vehicle crash around 10:20 p.m. near Mill Station Road in unincorporated Sonoma County, CHP Officer Jon Sloat said.

Enger called the CHP dispatcher and responded to the crash where he found Daniel Rosas Jr., 33, unconscious and hanging partially out of a window of an overturned Chevrolet Camaro, Sloat said.

Enger provided first aid and updates to dispatch before medics arrived. Rosas was taken to Santa Rosa Memorial Hospital and cleared before he was booked in the Sonoma County jail on suspicion of DUI.
